Keep on Rockin and Smile!

Yeah I just gotta do my thing while they do theirs. Who someone else is shouldn't influence who I will become!

Oh man I miss you guys! I can't wait to get home and be a part of all that! Well soon enough we will take some cool ones and do a bunch of sweet stuff together!
(I forwarded him this goofy Christmas picture of us)

That's super cute! I don't have any sound for it, and it's hard to see, but it looked great and they're way cool!  Yeah I miss  doing cute stuff like that.  Today Elder Clark and I were dancing in the market making all the old lady sellers laugh!  Clark and I dance all the time!   We are like by far the most fun missionaries around!   Members love us! This less active lady asked us if we could move in with her because she didn't want us to leave! We are way awesome!  Clark is the assistant to the president and he is from Star, Idaho. He's pretty cool.  He's totally cool with me he doesn't care what I do. He knows I'm a good missionary! We have fun.  There's actually 3 of us from Idaho in my apartment.  I'm with totally different people now. This one is from a different popular east Idaho place.   Where is Lynn from? She went to Highland High School right? Which town is that?  I think it's Pocatello! Wickham--that's the Elder's last name from Pocatello I don't know but there are a bunch of us from Idaho, which is good because most people like Idahoans better than the Utah guys.  Hehe Africans know we rock!

YEah so transfers went well.  My Companion is better, but stuff is still rough for sure!  Yeah he is called Elder Kouame from Ivory Coast.  He's cool and nice, but really quiet. It was kinda weird for a while though because at first it seemed like he couldn't speak English at all so that was trouble.  But he's much better than first expected. He's only been speaking English for like 4 months.  And he has already begun to loosen up since he got with me. We have a bunch of fun but we just don't talk that much. He also doesn't like to eat very much, so he always leaves me hangin at our dinner appointments, which stinks because then I'm all bloated and messed up at the end of the day, but its still totally worth it!!!!  He likes playing and watching soccer, he is a really quite guy, very kind, likes to smile, and is happy to be a missionary. He has been in the church for just about 2 years now.
We just got back from Keneshie to buy more fabric. I got some a few weeks ago and I got a suuper sick top and down made for me.... umm that means shirt and pants... but they are way cool.  The fabric we got today is to make some crazy cool jackets. I only know of one tailor who has successfully made some and so we will be getting in contact with them very soon!
Earlier today we got to chop down branches in the tree in our yard, Valdez, Clark and I are up in this big ole tree infested with evil elephant killing ants hacking away with some monster sized cutlasses! I may or may not have chopped out a branch that left a huge hole in the leaf line, also Valdez might have chopped off a full on log! It was a ton of fun and our land lady just kept yelling at us but she thought it was funny also so we didn't stop!
Also we went weeding at sister Adelaide's house that was horrible! 8 of us in this big field sweltering and blistering and sorenizing (the act of working hard and causing ones self to become sore)! but she fed us some really delicious rice and some stew stuff that I have never before seen! It was crazy good! She lives right next to mental hospital where we met one of the patients who was suuper nice! Sister Adelaide totally loves me! That was only the second time I had ever met her and she was begging me to never leave her... not weird because shes like 50s 60s dont worry! She said she'd buy me everything I need and I could stay at her house to make her smile! Then Clark got accepted also after second consideration! Woo tons of fun!
Well when does the school start? I should just come home the 30 days early? I'll let president know soon keep reminding me so I can email him next week and let him know. Yeah that will work. Let him know I need to be home atleast the 30 days early. I'll let him know to though.  Are you and dad planning to come pick me up here or not really any more?  If you'd come how long would you stay? Because it would be nice for clothes fitting and stuff but it would be kinda difficult but you could get cool art stuffs and whatever. Idk where you would stay here and basically you'd just be spending lots of money. What do you want?

Yeah it's super dumb that they are coming home already! I've been busting my but way longer than them! I should be coming home next month for crying out loud!  Haha well I think you could contact president hill about it.. It isn't salt lake that will do it. But if you contact here it would be good. I wish I was there for graduation!  Wow it's weird that all these young guys are going for missions! A bunch of my friends or class mates didn't even go!!! Well good for them though! They are doing their best!  Yeah dude Austins rockin it though so it's sick! Man how long are we missionaries for! It still feels like I will never come home!!!

Tali: What is strange magic? was it good! how did you like it?
Ty: dude tahts sick! man you hang out with Bekkah all the time! she is freaking sick! how was getting your blessing? i bet it was dang cool!!!!  Wow Ty is a stuuddd!! That's super dope! I'm so glad he was able to do that! He freaking rocks!!!
Tay: Wow dancin with your friends, doin solo and ensemble! Flip all things are just going sick for you!!! How are all your girls that love you doin?
Gracie: Well make sure you never join in any stupid people who are smoking! Why do people do things like that? that's suuper stupid!

At the End of the Day I Will Always Do What's Right

Wooooohhhh!!! I did it mom I am officially accepted to college!!!

Sweet thanks. Love you mom you're the besty!!!! (told him I'm sending a package with drink packets)  I'm not out but, I have noticed I'm getting low. I don't drink as much here because we don't have enough power to keep the drinks cold so it's hard to drink.

So I got sick twice since we've been talking.   I started not feeling well Wednesday night, so I slept, woke up, slept, woke up, pooped, ate, slept, and basically didn't leave my bed for more than 5 minute increments from Wednesday till Saturday which was really cool. I'm pretty sure I just got myself overworked and completely exhausted with a serious lack of sleep.  It was really fun when none of my investigators notices the lack of me! flip
Then the other one was Saturday.   The next Saturday I wake up with  my left eye sealed shut with goop and in a lot of pain. I unseal it and discover that its all red and the surrounding area is swollen.  So I start drowning my eye in eye drops until it didn't hurt anymore, went back to sleep.  Got up a couple hours later, put in a bunch more eye drops, then rubbed Neosporin around the swollen area. I then chopped up a rag and used an ace bandage to make a sick eye patch that I then wore around for the rest of the day. It was pretty exciting to rep an eye patch and look like a pirate while all these other people were just lookin at me like I was some sort of freak.   So yeah super sick!

Tay: Wow you are just so thoughtful! I didn't realize you had to do that just for me.  What a swell fellow you turned out to be! (Taylor told him he was the leading force in us emailing him weekly, that I try not to, but he pulls through for Trav & makes me!!)  Haha yeah I have been trying to grow out a mustache too... Not really working! But I did get a really nasty haircut.  Basically I have a mohawk hehe it's pretty sick, but I don't put it up.  I just comb it over so it looks presentable. The back is a pretty nasty slimmer mullet.
No it looks cute! Don't worry I'll get you a pic of it soon, but yeah it's not something Imma rep again.  Haha I've always been rebellious! No one can tell me what I can or can't do, but at the end of the day I will always do what's right :)
Ty:  Flip dude you hang out with Bekkah a ton! That's cool! I hope you had a ton of fun at least!!!
Gracie: Why are you getting stuck like a lump you crazy girl!!! Flip don't you know that's super dangerous! Flip I need you to still be there when I get back!! (she got herself stuck like a lump in her sleeping bag when they camped in the backyard--only Gracie could do this so well)

Tali: Dang you did all sorts of sick stuffs! I wanna do fun stuffs for Valentines Day! i just listened to a bunch of lonely Ghanaian women complain about how much they hate v day! Weirdos! I love that day!!
So these past weeks Imma strap a ton of info into as small of space as possible so sorry for lack of Character and funnitude herewith!
Also Odorkor had a zone activity that the office elders were going to a couple Mondays ago, and I got to go with them.   We played pure water dodge ball. A pure water sachet is 500ml.   The plastic is pretty durable and it hurts like crazy when it hits you. I took a couple hits to the face, and a really gnarly one to the neck that left some serious pain a for a few days.   But bottom line in the tournament:  my team/ district won and looked like suuper bosses!!!

I'm not sure if I told you this one yet but we went to a mini-golf place a few weeks ago and it was super fun. We were jumping all over from attraction to attraction and doin flips and all sorts of stuff and I got a bunch of turf-burn from falling.

Today we had a zone activity. It was supposed to start at 10, but it started at 1230 and some of the zone didn't even come. It was a load of junk, but while we were waiting we were able to play a bunch of American football and soccer and I suuuper sucked.   Which wasn't a big deal......until I biffed it in the parking lot and scratched up my knees hands and elbows, but it was totally worth it!!!  Also we then played a scripture search that my team dominated. I sucked at it, but my team mates did really well.   Also we had musical chairs, with the last 6 all from my district, then the last 5 from my apartment, and the last 2 were me and Clark. I let Elder Clark win though because I had already won all the other games  :)

Right now I am having a super sweet top and down made, so hopefully that will look really good.   We aren't sure how good this tailor does yet, but we are trying him out and hopefully he will do as good as we are hoping.

Ok also so transfer news, Elder Sebit is going out way into the bush just like he wanted. I don't think he is going to enjoy because that place isn't very nice.   But oh well, he will have fun.  But him leaving isn't actually good news.   Getting another rough to handle missionary.  Problem with this one is he still has 3 weeks of training, so technically I'm training him.  I wasn't supposed to be but I finagled my way into it.  But yeah a huge problem is he doesn't speak any English!  He's a French speaker.  And he is worse off than most because instead of the 6 week at the MTC learning English, they put him in a French district, so really he just learned French the whole time ugh. He was supposed to be finished with training, but your training is your first 12 weeks, and hes only been out 9 weeks, so if Imma be stuck with him, Imma get to count him as my son and train him for a little bit. Also imma work him.
Ugh oh well we shall work it out.  Lets just say I'm not excited and pretty disappointed once again, oh well I'll do what the Lord wants me to do.   This is the normal transfer time, so a bunch of people are getting transferred. I haven't met him yet. I will get him on Wednesday. I will meet him at the transfer location in Tesano, which just so happens to be my stake center.  Luckily there is like a French community around our areas, so hopefully we can get some use out of him. He and his trainer have done nothing since Christmas pretty much.

Got 2 people that come to church regularly but that's not exactly helpful because they are kinda crazy and the bishop said they need to wait longer to be baptized. They've come 4 times! But oh well we will keep seeing them, and see if we can get them to stop being crazy. The husband has a really big issue with his leg and it's all swollen and messed up, but he still does what he can, and he is always happy to see us.

One of my investigator's dads had a super nasty hernia, and it was crazy bad. He could barely speak or move but we gave him a blessing and he was able to get surgery and now he is totally fine. We met him on the road the other day just walkin to the market, he's got a bit of a hobble but he's still pressin forward!!!

Well yes sirry... nope don't know how to spell that.  But that there is a few of the adventures that you have missed, please join us for our our all new adventures next week on THE INCREDIBLE ADVENTURES OF A SUPER MISSIONARY.

We Had To Let the Computers Know I Was Still Out Here!!

Ok sorry I don't have much to say, but a bunch of cool stuff happened lately. I'll get all that out on Monday!  Right now I am just trying to catch up because my account got disabled for the last 2 weeks, as if I had been released.  The office couples and I have called Salt Lake like 50 times, and just now got it fixed, so I'm catching up with everyone!   I definitely don't know what happened.  Like a bunch of missionaries had a similar problem, but when we tried all the similar solutions nothing would work.  So I've been worrying the office couple every other day and they had a rough time calling Salt Lake a toooonn!  I am back on now!  I was "disabled" for a few weeks, but once again I am a real life missionary! Wee!

I have been trying but now we hardly ever have power. Oh man it has gotten so much worse, but it's not a big deal. I am still enjoying it.  We are looking into getting a generator for our apartment. Hopefully this will help. Yeah whatever we gotta do to get me in for school I'm totally down for!

(Talking to Gracie about turning 12)  Wow all the way to young womens!!! That is so cool! Oh my goodness are you super excited!!!????  Agh I can't believe how old you now are!  I'm sorry that this got to you a little late, but it's not my fault!  Apparently for 2 weeks I wasn't a missionary, so we had to let the computers know I was still out here! I love you so stay strong and love hard!

Thank you guys for always emailing, even if I can't!  It's super sad when I hear of missionary's families forgetting to email them.  And I am so glad that I have the most bomb diggity family in the universe EVER! (moral of the story.......take a minute to write to a missionary & make their day!)

All is good and I am safe Love you!
