I'd Murder Someone for a Real Nice Hot Dog Right Now!!!!

My new companion is super sweet! He is enjoying Africa, but he knows it is suffering.   In the Philippines where he lives, it is pretty well, his family is doing pretty well too.  We actually just saw this online today, but his city is the 7th best to live and work in......in the world.  He also goes to the best university in his country.  So he is doing pretty well, and here is a horrible step down from there.  (We asked if the conditions of the  Philippines was comparable to those in Ghana, better, worse, same?) So I think he would be a cool companion to go and visit!  He's not very much like Elder Fairwell.  But he has gone to Kasoa, not the same area that I was in, but the same apartment.

Hmm that's sad that only one out of 3 was willing to greet my mom! That's official they're not the ones for me! Thank goodness! (We saw some girls he knew from a few years back & one came to say hi)

Man it just feels like everyone is going home except me! So not fair!  I feel Like imma be stuck here forever!!! I'm never coming home again! But it's cool!  I am kind of mad that Kayla gets home before me, that's a load of junk! (That's his cousin who is serving in Brazil--she left a month after him and will get home in April because girls go on missions for 18 months) I mean I don't  even believe that she actually went on a mission.  You all just made that up to make me feel better! I mean some of her crazy food stories were that she had to eat hot dogs and it was really gross.... I mean honestly I'd murder someone for a real nice hot dog right now!!!!! But don't worry!  I won't... maybe...

Mom did anyone tell you how awesome you are?  Honestly, yesterday I started crying because I miss you so much! More to come on that later. (Dang, I miss that kid everyday!)

Yes Christmas will be awesome and I am going to enjoy it!  For package ideas whenever you feel like, some drink mixes would be great.  I finished those.  They're really good.  I've been trying to mix milk powder, chocolate powder, and sugar in my bottle.  But unless there is a ton of milk it tastes really nasty and then it gets kinda expensive...

Tali: Yeah my new companion is way cool. He is not like Elder Fairwell.  And are you kidding me? I have been here for over a year and you want to ask if it snows? No there are only 2 seasons here....... wet and dry.  It never snows. EVER!  It's horrible! Man why are there a bunch of church movies coming out all of a  sudden? That's really cool!

Ty: Dude you are such a boss! You look great in those pics bro!  Are you putting the one of you with mom for your announcement card? :P   Who is on the football team now? I have only heard about 2 guys and I didn't think the team would be any good, but that's cool that they are doing well.

Gracie: Good thing you could get away from that stinky bum! He was not nice at all! We didn't like him! So hopefully this new teacher will be better for you! I hope it all works out. Just try your best! (We had to make a schedule change for Gracie at school)

Tay:  Of course you made it! (Treasure Valley Honor Choir--the 2nd time he tried out, he didn't make it the 1st time)  Dude you're a total boss!  You just got all up in those judges' faces and were like whats what! But don't worry about basketball tryouts!  Even if you don't make it at least you get to have fun! But hey you're athletic, so you can try.  Dude have Tyson try out too! He could get on varsity because he's a senior! (Tyson didn't think this was a good idea.  He's way too much of a soccer defender and puts a body on everyone & fouls a lot at basketball!!)

So not much for this week because we had 2 full rain days but one was sweet!
Tuesday we had a rainy day, and because it was light off on Monday my companion and I came to the chapel to shoot off a few emails. When we walked out of the clerks office there was a full on storm raging! Panels were breaking from the ceiling because a bunch of rain was getting on them.  Plantain trees were falling over all around us.  The palm trees were bent in half, and it was way cool.  We were stuck there for a few hours, but the power went off so that was no fun!  But we made it home and it rained until the night!  That was really cool to have just a bunch of broken trees all over the paths as we were trying to rush home!

Yesterday was a really great day. The Lathem's invited us all over for a bbq, and it was a freaking awesome! Burgers and cake, and I missed my mom so freaking bad!  Goodness!  Sister Lathem was handing me a bottle water and it just made me so sad.  (Awww..... I love that kid!) The burgers were delicious as anything I have ever tasted! We had so much fun!  

And then 30 minutes later some  ladies invited us to a baby  something party.  It's called an outdooring. For some reason here after you have a baby it has to stay in the house for 3 months, then you have a big party.  It's kinda ridiculous.  But they forced us to eat a bunch of banku, and it was detrimental to my resolve!  I was begging them to just let us go. On the walk home some dumb guy got all up in our face and he wanted to fight us.  But we, and a few people around him, humbled him real quick, until he started begging our forgiveness.  It was kinda fun.

Yeah it's been a kinda long week, but we have been enjoying, so it's all good!

There Was Light Off All Day

This update is from 11/4/14

Ok so sorry we are on Tuesday, but there was light off all day, and we were unable to do it in the evening. So I got to get on today woop woop.   

Of course we pulled off the Halloween movie night!!!   It was really hard because Elder Fairwell was pretty much 100% in charge of it.   But he left on Wednesday (Oct. 29th) and then no one else was helping.   So I took charge and took care of everything.   Boom total success and everything went great!  We had a little over 60 people there.  All went well other than a few of the missionaries were bums and came like an hour late..........which, for the time I asked everyone to be there, was about 2 and a half hours late!   But luckily, the guy  that was in charge of the projector already had everything ready to go when we got there! Thank you Brother Adu!   We did a bunch of contacting out on the street and people got kinda mad at us because they showed up late and then they didn't understand the story line of the movie as well.  But I told them that if they showed up on time there wouldn't be a problem! But it went well, there was a good turnout, and everyone seemed to enjoy.

Man why did Uncle Rafe have to leave Las Vegas!?? When will Ty be going on his mission?

Ty: Dude I never even got to go to MEN (a boys choir activity & then Ty did a barbershop quartet activity too--that's what Trav's talking about).  Man you lucked out that's super sick!  I bet that was a ton of fun!  So how come you didn't want to be in Treasure Valley Honor Choir? Don't worry it's fun and you get out of school for it, so win - win!  Hope all is well and your still doing sick!  For a senior pic you should get a cool rain pic with your black jacket and a scarf... just a suggestion :)

Tay:  Hecks yeah try out for basketball!   That would be way fun, you are going to enjoy it! I wish I could try out for basketball!   I didn't even get to go trick or treating this year because a bunch of the churches here are dumb and they condemn all holidays.

Gracie: Ok ok so I guess I will see it sheesh I don't need it all full drama :P I'm glad you liked it and had a ton of fun! (She gave him the whole scoop on the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie, which she totally loved, which is bizarre if you know Gracie)

Tali:  Umm ok so next Halloween you have to remember where all of the houses with full sized candy bars are so that I can come and get some with you!  Don't worry, time will still move slow. But it's cool because I'll be back before next Halloween!  So in very short time!!!

Also I have a new companion Elder Francisquete from the Philippines. He is really cool guy! We are having a bunch of fun together and we are working hard! I'm in the same area. He came last year May.  I don't know what to say about him.  I'll put together a bio or something and send it next week!  He is way fun, but he too doesn't have a camera!  Now we (Elder Fairwell & Trav) are not together, so now I don't have a camera again!  That's why I tried to send you as much as possible when I could :)

I Coulda Been Stabbed in the Middle of Church!!

Yeah we too, are not really ready for Halloween this Friday. We decided that we were going to host a movie night at the church. I think the plan is to watch Hotel Transylvania? It will be cool, but I do not think we have secured a projector, nor speakers, but no problem I'm sure it will all work out!

Ty: FREAK YEAH!!!! dude that's bull that Skyview won, but that is so sick that you guys did so well! A couple years ago ya'll didn't think you'd go anywhere, but of course you freakin beasted it out! And of course choir is doing well!  I looked at the pics mom sent, and I hardly recognized anyone! Yeah we had a bi-zone activity today and I played a little soccer.  I strait up threw down on those chumps!  The other team had 5 Africans, and my team had 5 un-athletic dudes. I scored 8 goals in 20 minutes, and they were basically just bowing to me! Problem, now my head is about to explode and I can't feel my legs! No problem!

Tay: So you had a ton of fun at state and in the concert! You were my favorite to watch in Una Voche too ;) Man why you leading that little creepy stalker girl on??  Don't you know you are The Taylor Legg!  The women folk are in need of soma that!! 

Tali:  Sorry you got so rained on!  Yeah we are trying to help these poor souls to understanding the awesomeness of Halloween, but it's difficult.  So far we have gotten them to agree to a movie night.  I wanted really bad to set up a trunk or treat here.  The problem with that, is no one here likes candy, and I only know of 2 members who own cars :P

Gracie: But yeah there isn't it really cold??   You're lucky you got to go swimming sheesh! I want to go swimming too!   Since when did you like swimming? Are you even really able to swim??  When I was there you were just a really good floater.  Man I want to get some nice food really bad right now because I'm super hungry and I haven't eaten anything but eggs today! Ridiculous!

OK so this week was pretty sick!  I'm not sure where to start, so this is gonna be a bunch of random stuff  all out of order.

I went on exchange with Elder Smith this week into his area which was interesting because he has only been on mission for maybe a month and he didn't really know where to go.   No problem though.  We get to the first appointment and she tries to tell me she's too sick to learn.   So I just sit with her and get really pesky telling her she needs to stop selling and go home to rest.   So then she finally realizes that I'm not the black missionary that usually comes to meet her and she asks my name.   Then I smoothly invite her to church to come see me more, but then she starts all this stuff about how she will be busy then I tell her it's not good on the Sabbath day.   Long story short, she asks us to teach her about the Sabbath day, and by the end of the lesson she is healed.  

Then we went to an elementary school where a member works.  We taught 3 classes how to sing hymn 301 I am a child of God. https://www.lds.org/music/library/childrens-songbook/i-am-a-child-of-god?lang=eng
 That was sick!  And all the kids loved it!  We had some class competitions and different things, but really only the 5th graders could sing it right.  Then we walked around, got bounced over and over,  sat with a few people, but as we came back past the school they were having a soccer tournament. And when they saw us they called us in where they then gave us some real nice half field side line seats!  Then we got bounced some more, but then I receive a call from the Lathem's (our couple missionaries, some old couple who is serving in our town, they're really cool) but they call me and tell me I need to run and pick up Elder Hoskins because his companion has to go down to Accra with them.  We pick him up go to some sweet members in his area then steal their daughter to go proselyting with us, problem: for the 3 hours she goes with us we don't sit down with anyone.  Good news is at the end of the day she tells us she loved it and would love to come out with us anytime she is free!  Then we had to rush to the far end of my area to meet the zone leaders so that they could conduct a baptismal  interview for our sick recent convert Esther (yes, recent convert means she has been baptized, that story to come.) Esther is super cool! But yeah that was a crazy day that was also some fun.

Saturday of course is village day!  We got to our village at about 12 ( no farming today because we had a baptism)  We just walk around from house to house with Sister Mavis just teaching everyone! We didn't even have enough time to sit with everyone that we wanted to see because so many cool people wanted to sit down with us.  We just taught over and over, and everyone was so happy that we had come all the way out there to come visit them.  We then ate some nice kenkey with pepe.  But now it was getting to 6 which is not good because we may have missed the last car going to Asamankese.  We meet a taxi going away from town, but we stop him and he says he will return after dropping some people off.  We wait for about 20 minutes and a trotro starts coming, still headed away from town.  We stop him and he says he will not return, but we hop in so that he can take us down to meet the taxi.   We start going and out of no where a storm hits.  Ok maybe not out of no where, because it had rained a couple hours prior, but still a gnarly storm hit.  We met the taxi on the road and hopped in.  Now there's a problem with that too, it was one of those nasty little milk carton cars with no space inside and we now had 9 people packed in!!! Sister Mavis even had to sit on the driver's lap because there was no room!!!  That was a fun ride home. We then got to go to the other missionaries apartment for a district dinner, but they didn't have light, so that was no fun.  We had light at our house, until about 1020 so we would have had a rough night, but it was raining woop woop! Cold night!

Ok so baptism!  Each companionship in the district baptized someone this week.  That ended Elder Hoskins 6 months without baptisms.  And Elder Fairwell and I baptized 2!  The first was James, he is 12, and he was just adopted by our branch president.  He was invited into their home, basically to be their slave, but he's happy because at his own house he was still pretty much a slave, but there they beat him and didn't allow him to go to church or school.  Teaching him was fun because he doesn't speak any English, but he is so humble and willing to do anything. He always wants to do both the opening and closing prayers for our lessons and he is just great!  Then there is Esther.  She is dating a member in 2nd branches branch presidency.  She is a teacher, and she is a spiritual power house.   All this time I have been thinking she was just going to be baptized for the guy, but it's for sure not that!  She is awesome!   We will come to her conversion story soon.  The baptism went perfect.  Elder Moyer was one of the baptists, and he was scared out of his pants!  But he only had to baptize his candidate twice, since the second time he basically threw her into the water and yanked her out!  It was awesome.

Today was our bi-zone activity sports day in Nsawam!  We went down this morning and played some basketball and later a little soccer and wiffle ball.  We had a ton of fun. Asamankese district went down reppin some sick jerseys!  Yeah I have a Jordan All Stars hardwood classic jersey, it's sick.  I'll send some pics of me in it if I can.  We were doing  good in basketball.  I only played a little soccer, but in the time that I played I feel that I did pretty well. I scored 8 goals in the same time that my whole rest of the team and entire other team scored 3 :)  It was nice since the other team had all the Africans and my team had all the goobers!  For basketball I was pretty in the zone today. Elder Hoskins and I were stealin' all over the place and our shots were pretty dang on!  We had a ton of fun, but the sun beat us so we all have sunburns and I started to get a little heat exhaustion. I downed like 5 pure waters and a bottle of juice and I had to sit down for a while because I was going to pass out and throw up!  That was really cool and we had a nice long packed trotro ride home where I got really car sick, but no problem we made it home safe and now I get to email you!

Church yesterday was pretty exciting. For the second hour of church we always have an investigator class where all of the investigators and recently baptized members are.  Since I have come here we have had this boy who always sits in the back and doesn't talk.  None of the missionaries are teaching him and no one else in the class knows who he is.  So 2 weeks ago I went through a bunch of effort and detective work and I found out that in his family he has 1 return missionary brother, 1 current missionary brother, and 1 inactive father.  This boy is mentally disabled. Reason for his father not coming to church was because this boy beat him up and now he is embarrassed that a disabled person beat him. We were told to just leave him be and all will be fine.  But this  Sunday something was off.  In sacrament meeting he kept moving seats and acting weird.  Then for investigators class we were learning about developing your talents. 30 minutes in he raises his hand and proclaims that being an armed robber is a talent!  Then there is an argument over that.  Now Explicit part NOT for children: he says if he takes some drugs that cause him to have a long term erection that is a talent!  Ok regular part again, he then tells the teacher, my recent convert, that I begged to teach the class.  Then he says that if he got it in his mind to come over and stab her that would be a talent.  Throughout this class first enters our branch president and sees this guy disturbing us, he tells us to ignore him and leaves. A few minutes later the district president enters and tells us to ignore him and he leaves.   We are finishing up class, when now enters a member and a police officer!   They arrest this dude and take him outside. Apparently he had a knife on him and he had stabbed a member earlier that day!  The officer was not prepared though seeing as he forgot his handcuffs and was unable to restrain this guy.  The crazy guy beat up the police officer just outside the church gates and it took a while for him to be restrained!  Man that was an awesome Sunday.  It was kind of scary to look back at though, because he was threatening the teacher, and from where he was sitting I was the only one between him and her!  I coulda been stabbed in the middle of church! That woulda been pretty cool right! :)

Ok so now for super cool awesome Esther's conversion story. She was supposed to be baptized a couple of weeks ago but we had to postpone it because she felt that she wasn't ready.  Then starting 2 weeks ago we were supposed to meet her Friday, she bailed. We were supposed to meet her Saturday, she bailed.  She didn't come to church Sunday.   We were supposed to meet her Tuesday, she bailed.   She was supposed to come to midweek Wednesday, she bailed.  So Thursday night we met her at her house, finally!  She was pretty troubled!   Sorry I'm out of time so I will try to put this in short version.  She had been grumped at by her parents and by her last church.  Her pastor's wife was trying to get her to marry some guy that she's never met.   But she told us she really wanted to be baptized.   At first we were going to push her back, but then we decided that she needed to be baptized that coming Saturday.   We asked her to pray about it. And she prayed right then, she prayed for 5-10 minutes.  She told God that we were waiting for His answer. Then she just sat there.  We thought she was not going to get answered, but then out of no where the Spirit just about knocks me off my knees and she just starts thanking God.   Then at the baptism while she bore her testimony she just broke down into tears! It was incredible!  She's amazing!!

That was my rocking week! Hope y'alls was almost as good... doubt it :P

My Sweet Farming Story

Ok so the big thing for this week is my sweet farming story!  If you think you're a farmer and this is going to be a boring story then you can chill  and just stop reading. But if you're reallly interested in my life, then you will remember that I am in the middle of the rainforest and you would recognize that farming here may be a little different than what you are used to!


So Elder Fairwel, our friend Daniel, our friend Mavis, and I met up, hopped on a trotro saturday morning, then traveled out to Mavis' dads house in the middle of nowhere. We then got equiped for farming. So in other words all of us picked which cutlass we wanted. ( a cutlass is like a machette, but they can come in a bunch of different shapes and sizes.) I picked a nice sturdy one, and we headed out.  We had to walk up a mountain, then cross a couple of streams, then we got to the start of Samuel's farm property. (Samuel is Mavis's dad)


We started off the day with a couple hours of weeding.  You just cut everything down with the culass,  and just try to be careful that you don't hit too many rocks, trees, cocyams, or people. Yeah it's harder than is sounds.  And of course, we are just on the side of the mountain. I hit a lot of rocks, a couple trees, a few cocyams, and one person. ( aka...... I smacked myself )


But as you can suspect there are some nasty critters on the mountains in the rainforest!  Nope, no elephants, no giraffes, not lions, no tigers, no bears, not even some monkeys, but there were a lot of bugs.  Centipedes about 8 inches long.   Ants the size of your thumb.   And spiders the size of your head.  And the spiders are not normal spiders.  But the ones that fall from the sky and try to bite your neck, but you have to use your Jedi powers to fight them off. I was just weeding, minding my own business, when I feel a weed land on the back of my neck.  I shake a little to brush it off, but it just sort of moves a little more towards my ear.  Gently I reach up and feel not a weed, but a 8 legged hairy demon!  I smack it off, metaphorically wet myself, then got all sorts of mideval knight on it! I chopped at that thing for a couple minutes until it was in little pieces!  It was so scary!!!   Have any of you ever been attacked by a giant African spider??? I hope not, if so then send me your stories!


But after weeding we went and planted some kasava sticks! Though I stunk at weeding I was by far the best kasava planter there! 1 stick can be planted 3-5 times and it could do a whole stick in 30 seconds! That one was really ssweet!


YEAH STATE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! oh man that is so sick!!!!!!!!!!

Um yeah you can send stockings again that was pretty awesome! And it doesn't need to be a nice pedometer, I just what to know how far I walk during the day.

Tali: Ok so now when everyone else starts causing trouble, you remember what an awesome brother I am and now you want me back!? I remember you being so happy that I was going to Africa and you said you wouldnt miss me even a little bit! :P

Gracie: Why do you want to get out of the primary program so bad?  We just had our here and it was really nice! The main speaker was the primary president and only like 7 kids spoke so it was cool, one of the songs they sang was Head, Shoulders, knees, and toes. The cool thing with that song compaired to back home is that "they all belong to Jesus."

Ty: WOOP WOOP!!!! flips yeah you is goin to state!!!! gosh thats so tight dude! I was thinkin about that all week! im so excited!!!!!!!!! you guys are going to do awesome if you want to pull yourselves together! stay srong and inspire those around you, get the right food in your body and get the right amount of sleep so that you can do your best! and dont forget your scriptures!

Tay: things are going werll for you! i wish i could come home at like 3! just chill and snack! thatd be way nice! but hey atleast you got all them hunnies trippin!  i thought you were the one who likes to go hunting? i ate a bird that we killed with my slingshot saturday if thats the same :) the bird was just big enough for 4 of us to get a nice bite of it :)

You Should Be the One Teaching You!

I'm getting together lists of food we have to get in surplus
when I go home so that I can just snack all the time! There are no
snacks here so that's freaking annoying because I'm hungry all the time!
White chocolate chips and milk sound soooooooo good right now! All I've
had today was some plain bread and some water... it was delicious.

Man I wish I could go to the games! Its so hard to fathom that this is
Ty's senior year! It honestly doesn't even make sense! But he should go
to state that would be so sick!


Nope definately never heard of that movie! Did you know there's a movie
called the spirit of Ghana, and there's one for nigeria, sierre leon,
and liberia, it is the testimonies of members as the church came into
their countries or something.  I don't really know but my branch
president was watching one last night when we went to go teach his
"son".  Ok check this, how dang easy is it to get a baptism when your
branch president basically adopts a 12 year old boy and brings him to
church. Woop woop workin hard or hardly workin? Anyway we BAPTIZE!!!


Yeah honestly for those drugs no need to send more, they're kinda
spensive and they didnt do a whole lot, while I was on them it made it
way worse then when I finished it only helped for like a week haha but
dont worry I got enough drugs and the anti diahrrea ones help a bunch!


I left most of the Christmas decorations, but its ok I want to do a christmas outside if I
can get something going.

Ty: Ok so I am so mad that I am missing your senior year! it just
sounds like you are a total boss! you looked awesome for homecoming
and your soccer poster was crazy cool!!!! man I cant believe you're
doing so well! I left Sophmore you at home and now you're doing what I
was doing! its way cool! keep up the good work!

Tay: So how many seniors were on varsity? Ar you gonna be bumped up
next year? gosh second in districts is way good! of course you just
talked to them! wait how did you get to mcdonalds in caldwell?! who's
driving you?

Grace: where did she leave to? So now all of a sudden your a hunter?
how long have i been out here?! that's wild girlie! yeah I usually just
find a sinner and tell them to repent when I'm really stressed! but
hunting would be way cooler!

Tali: sorry you havent been feeling well! thats a pretty high fever! I
hope you are doing better! how are you liking watching the boys
soccer? what are you doing right now? were you in soccer or are you in
singing or whats going on?

Ok so this week has been cray so Ill try to get some good stories out
of it because we honestly haven't done a whole lot more than walk until
I am feeling like my legs are falling off and I start tripping a
bunch. Oh yeah and mom would it be cool if you could get me a
pedometer or whatever that thing is that you put on your hip and it
counts your steps? that would be a good package item!

Let's get yesterday out of the way! All the times I got frustrated!
First appointment isn't around and no members to help us to go teach,
solution to that:  call a teacher have him come with us, go to a
different investigator, and just chastize her on not coming to church,
and not keeping the sabbath day holy. Result of that action, she later
cooked us dinner, and so did the teachers mom!

Then Sister Patience didn't come to church, again! We thought it was
because her husband never comes, but he came and she didn't.  So from
their family the most progressing investigators are their 5 year old
twins. We ask why she didn't come to church and her wonderful excuse,
"I'm tired" I almost had a hissy fit right there since I just walked 5
miles 2 days in a row to come to her house! And of course what is her
work that made her too tired? She's a seamstress that works at home!!! Oh my goodness! I birthed a full on cow right there. We just had to walk away.


We walk about halfway to our next appointment, which we have to
traverse through the bush and we are starving, thankfully those 2
aforementioned people called us to come back and feed us! We got so
full we thought we were gonna die! So awesome!

Then we go the hour journey to the next appointment, and a dumb former
investigator gets mad at us because we don't  meet with him when we come,
but he is completely not serious because we tried to set an
appointment for him and he told us he's too busy. I don't care for that
man, but then out of no where this incredibly drunk guy comes out of
the house just going crazy. Wanting to get all in my face and know
everything about me! I was tryin to be cool but he kept swearing and
insulting me, so I just calmly told him to go and repent. It may not
have been those exact words, but he got of lucky!  If we weren't next
door to the branch president's house and this guy wasn't related to my
investigator he would have gotten wailed on!

Then we are now with our investigator Grace!  We are slowly baptizing
her whole house and shes gonna follow! We asked her why she didn't come
to church and what does she do? She starts playin the blame game! Ah
hecks no!  She said she couldn't come to church because her son wasn't
teaching her about it enough!  Verbally we told her that her son is
sorry and he will do better, and then she will also have to do better.
Mentally I told her Woman! how are you trying to make your son carry
you to heaven! You should be the one teaching you! Every time we come
here no matter where he is or what he's doing he stops and comes
running so that he can help you! He testifies to you, he prays for
you, he translates for you, he does everything you can ask for! You
didn't even take the thought to do anything! Flip come to church before
I have to get up at 5 to come and pick you! dang!
Yeah that was a fun lesson I think!

Yeah that's  proselyting after church.   Not all that much fun! But the
lessons we had were awesome and the people we taught were so great!
In our numbers that we report we can pretty well influence all of the
numbers except the amount that comes to church! That one is completely
on the investigators, and you don't usually get very many.  When Elder
Fairwell and I got here we could barely get one and now we average/
top out at 3. The work is coming and we are doing all that we can!
Just gotta put some trust in God and take a few thousand tired steps
of faith and He will do the rest! I can do hard things because I
successfully got out of bet 4 times today! But good news, that means it's
only the afternoon and  I've already been able to get back into bed 3
times! Man it's a sweet day!
